How much Electrical Does a Crockpot use?
Trying to determine if crockpots are economical given their long cooktimes
Our el rates keep escalating, like everything else <g>
I contacted Rival client service and did Not receive a reply
I tin can only presume that the larger crocks apply more the smaller ones???

I believe by police force, all items must list the power requirements on the appliance.
Did yous await at the bottom of the unit ?

There are 2 means you can achieve this. The first 1 is to purchase an amp meter and see how much current is drawn when the crockpot is on.
The 2d (and easier) method is to purchase a Impale a Watt meter and it will tell you how much current/power is being used.
On our crockpot, the depression setting consumes about 0.9A, or around 108 watts.

how much Electrical does a crock pot employ
I read the manuf. statistics online for several brands, 300+ watts is what was stated. To me that is not economy.
